Healthy lentil soup
a nourishing and warming soup that gives you peace of mind and strength

  • 4 cups of (red) lentils
  • 3 Scallions , chopped
  • 3 medium carrots, chopped
  • 3 medium celery, chopped
  • Salt/pepper
  • 3 Bay leaves
  • 8 cups of water
  1. Put everything in stockpot.
  2. Add water until everything is really under water. (If during cooking the soup dries up add more water).
  3. Put on stove on turn low heat and let it cook for an hour. The lentils became soft and spread all over the soup.
  4. Take out bay leaves.
You can add bouillon powder or bone broth for a more depth in flavor
