Organice Your Relationships for Thanksgiving

Try to invite people who are likely to have a good time together. Think less is more, meaning focus on a few good friends and family. If you don’t have (a good relationship with) family, or if you live far apart, you invite your best friends. Remember, family doesn’t have to be blood-related: you create your own family of loved ones! The more people you invite, the party will become more work and become less personal. Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for your closest friends and family, and just have a beautiful time together!

Organice Your Good Heart for Thanksgiving

You probably prepare too much food for Thanksgiving. Make something with the leftovers the next day, or make a leftover meal for yourself, or for those who did not come to your party. ((actually, our friend MasterChef Brasil contestant Fabio Nunes once made an amazing Turkey for dinner, and the next day came over to make the most unbelievable turkey, vegetable frittata I ever had!) Just know that a lot of people are pretty lonely during the holidays. If you know of someone that is going to be alone, invite them to your celebration! You will make it a night they will never forget. Sometimes doing a good deed is as simple as that!

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!

Love, Lonneke
