There are over 50 (more like 60) recipes in it ranging from breakfasts to desserts & even a couple of beauty treatments using raw cacao. Stock up on goodies:
Raw cacao powder, raw cacao nibs, raw cacao beans, creamed coconut, coconut oil, organic essential oils like peppermint, orange, lavender. Spices like cayenne & cinnamon, dried fruits such as blueberries, mango, incaberries. Organic fresh & frozen fruits & superfruits! Sweeteners such as raw honey, raw agave, maple syrup, coconut sugar. Organic nuts & seeds. Superpowders such as mesquite, lucuma, maqui berry, hemp protien, acai berry, maca. SOO GOOD.
Now you can do anything…!
Adding raw cacao, coconut oil, shavings of creamed coconut, cacao nibs, spices to nuts & seeds or organic fruits in your day. You can make simple fresh fruits exciting by adding yogurt & raw cacao nibs on top. You could add a sprinkling of raw cacao powder over a bowl of oatmeal before drizzling on honey & cinnamon. Rolling medjool dates in superpowders, mentioned above, & fill with raw cacao nibs or powder mixed with hazelnut butter. Snacking on cacao beans & goji berries is a favourite of many healthy people worldwide & for good reasons :)
Replace hot chocolate drinks with raw cacao hot chocolate. Don’t scald it, place almond milk over raw cacao powder first, froth it with spices if you like & sweetener – then pour over the boiling water.
You can add cacao nibs or raw cacao powder into smoothies. I have a supersmoothie recipe in my book which is pretty much just young green coconut water with blueberries, cacao & any choice of superpowders/foods you like! It can taste scrumptious or earthy & medicinal depending on your combinations or needs on the day. A smoothie a day to keep the doctor away!
There’s many great recipes available on the internet using raw cacao so have a play. Its worth the effort in all its blessedness… BUT if you are superbusy & want to buy chocolate instead PLEASE PLEASE choose only to buy fairtrade (refuse to support child slavery) for the rest of your life. I’d rather never taste chocolate again than buy chocolate that ruins a childs life. Remember too, buy chocolate that is what I call ‘fairtrade by birth’. This means the company has always been fairtrade, rather than just slapping on a logo to keep up with the changing trends.
