Yesterday I went to the ASPCA Young Friends Benefit “Paw Prints” in New York City, to support the work of the ASPCA. This night 600 tickets were sold, and a silent auction raised money as well for the good work this organization is doing. The ASPCA saves animals that are abused or neglected, and tries to find new loving, and forever homes. There were a few nice dogs at the event, to show who the ASPCA is exactly helping. I am happy to announce that the Beagle I am posing with in the picture was adopted right away at the event! That is awesome news! I hope Elvira, the Chihuahua I had my eyes on too, will be adopted soon as well. Also, Gepetto I was told, has been in the shelter for over 8 months. He needs an amazing house and family to live with, so help me find that home soon! Hopefully I can also tell you later that these sweet dogs are adopted as well!

Love, Lonneke
