Hello,
i read about this website in Jackie magazine in the Netherlands. i like to read more about doing the things i do a bit more environmental conscious. (this is not correct english, sorry..) and this site is not so dull (?) like most sites.
i live in the Netherlands, work as a nurse in psychiatry and started studying law last year.
I run 3 times a week and want to do a triathlon some day (1/4 is more than enough), but than i need to train a little bit more...
Ciao Esther

Hello Esther,

You are setting a good example by introducing yourself, I will follow your lead and take the opportunity to do the same :)

My name is Anne-Marie Van Dijk, good friend and colleague of Lonneke.

Our wish is to see a greener, healthier, and more enlightened Earth in the years to come - whether through the power of passion, civil action or simply by being yourself and sharing with the world what resonates most.

My biggest passions in life are Metaphysics, Quantum mechanics, Philosophy of the mind, Life and dolphins - whom I consider the clowns of the universe, or Mona Lisas of the deep.

Welcome to the Community and hope you enjoy your journey here!

Heello there,
Ok, my name is Travis, I'm 28, currently a temp at an architecture firm and waiter at Le Pain Quotidien in NYC, used to write for a design/fashion blog and stumlbed upon here through an online article. I am from California, but moved here from Britain last year where I was studying architecture in Newcastle-upon-tyne. My passions, if you will, are anything water- i.e. swimming, free diving, water polo, cliff jumping. I am a huge fan of animals of all types, but am alergic for some devious reason to cats and rabbits. As for more land based activities, I love to read, with my favourite author being William Faulkner, and my goal is to get a graduate degree in industrial engineering or environmental economics, with the goal of using sustanable systematic practices that can be used to improve degrading areas of communities, either in the business and finace realm, or in that of an actual environmental improvement: Through architectural or engineering udgrades that allow a community and area to thrive. A bit wordy, but essentially I want to leave the world a better place than I found it, cheesy but very true.

Hello to all, I am Tajna and study Art History and English in Hawai'i. I love to travel, can remember traveling since I was a baby, and am passionate about the world we live in and need to treat better. We also need to treat ourselves well through what we consume and make sure our positive consumptions out weigh the negative ones. I am so lucky to live the near the beach and not have to deal with snow in the winter and be able to exercise every day outdoors, and I try to share my gratitude and joy with as many as possible.
Originally I started out interested in both being a professional ballet dancer or modeling but neither were the career or lifestyle for me. I love to do art work, write,do yoga (in all forms, not just the poses), be with animals and children, travel and dance, meet new people and share my happiness with others. I also love to ride horses, hike and camp even though I haven't been able to do those so recently.

Hello all,

I discovered this site thanks to the tweets of Lonneke :-)
I am a physicist (and I can see above that a member has a passion for quantum mechanics ...)
I am in love with nature in general. I am very pessimistic about the future of humanity if we continue on the same path.

So, I am really interested in what I can learn on this site.

Hello

“Earth Prayer”: Mother Earth… my life support system… as a soldier… I must drink your blue water… live inside your red clay and eat your green skin. I pray… my boots will always kiss your face and my footsteps match your heartbeat. Carry my body through space and time… you are my connection to the Universe… and all that comes after. I am yours and you are mine. I salute you.

kisses and huges

Hello!

I am from Southern California, and live in Malibu. I work in fundraising at The Wellness Community, which is a non-profit that provides free services to people impacted by cancer. I am so excited to have found this site, which I believe I stumbled across via the website Modelinia? Anyway, I am a passionate explorer of all things cultural - art, music, film, fashion, literature, food, history. I also am trying to be very conscious of the food I eat and the goods I buy, so that I can make informed choices toward a more sustainable lifestyle. I am excited to learn about ways other people on this site are "organicing" their lives, and am looking forward to sharing my tips and favorite finds as well.

I write a cultural & health blog that taps into many of the same topics here. You can read it at www.malibuingenue.com.

Cheers!
Nicole

Hi everyone,

I wanted to congratulate all the wonderful people behind Organice with their great website.
I'm a documentary photography student originally from Eindhoven, now studying and living in The Hague. One of my main subjects is the lifestyle people have and the environment. That's also what I love about this website: that it really speaks to you on a personal and individual level. It's a cliche but a better world starts with yourself and this website is a great tool to achieve that!
Keep up the good work!

xxx Anne Kirstin
