No kids but some thoughts

No kids but some thoughts

Just as a post of respect to all mothers out there: I worked as an Au Pair for 6 months in Italy...hardest, and yet most rewarding, job I have ever had. The children were twins, one boy and one girl, aged 5 years. I fly over from England with the seed of hope for an adventure, and what I came back as was a changed man. And I also learned the value of simple and fresh ingredients(or actually just how to cook:)), in traveling through Milan trafiic everyday to buy bread, vegetables, pasta, and olive oil for that night's preparation of dinner. Those children and that place taught me more than I could have ever imparted.

Yes,I agree that being around children so much is truly an awakening. I cannot understand how anyone says, "I hate children" We all have started out as children!
To me children are always so curious, open, they don't hide their feelings and are the most rewarding individuals to share your time with. They are open to new things and people, even if they do act shy at first. I love to be with children!
