Can You please give me your thoughts I can use to make www.organiceyourlife.com better?

Do you have any tips about things I should discover/write about, or one of the other OYL authors?

feedback:
- incorporate original content such as videos, even if it's made with a small compact camera
- post review photos of events you've hosted, or video (again, video is prime content as it is a matter of clicking play, sitting back and watching)
- link to external sources for organic content, green movements, products, perhaps even government policies that apply(?)
- incorporate more relative ads on the homepage, ads or links to a special commercial product that has been released using organic items etc.
- get rid of this phpBB community and allow comments to be posted as if it's a blog > having users register to use this isn't very user-friendly (ik doe het ook alleen maar omdat ik las dat je moeder uit de Kets komt).
- turn it into a guide on how to maintain and sustain the lifestyle
- perhaps you could include various diet schedules that people could follow, or speak with an organic dietitian who could help with that
- post some tips on how to eat organic even when you're hopping planes every other day
- perhaps there are some home improvements that can be done with organic means
- I think the Vintage Swap party was a good idea, just needs a bit more coverage

I know you are dutch but this community will be in english so as many people can read it.

As you might now, we started this website about 3 weeks ago. ( and community last week)
It is still in the making, and things will be added/changed.
Feedback is very welcome always!

I posted a notice on the OYL website about the forum style community.
We did this on purpose:
A lot of things are out there in the world,and we cannot cover everything.
So I am trying to get the help of people like you, to put their thoughts and input in.
Because if you know a great organic skincare product, or an amazing restaurant, we need to know about it!
And you can share this way on the community.
Everybody can make a change!

And so our goal is to make a big network of positive information available to all.
So people, also in Holland, can get tips on how to make positive changes in their lives.

Also thank you for the ideas for blog subjects: tips on how to eat on a trip or a plane where in the planning, and I will also take your other comments into consideration.

so watch out for that the coming weeks!

Also added next month: our own made videos.

report on the vintage swap party will come tomorrow!( I am going to organize these more in the future, also in Holland!)

I'll help where & when I can - like I said, I think it's a good concept.
A friend of mine is launching her own magazine in Toronto related to green activities, once that's live i'll certainly pass it along - collaborative efforts are nice.

I have just logged to suggest a few improvements to an already excellent site and concept:

It would be great to have a feed (Atom or RSS) to be able to easily detect when a new entry is posted on the blog ;
It would be great to be able to answer directly on a blog post (comments). I know it can be tricky because of the danger of being spammed but there are now good spam filters

Is there a plan to extend this web site to mobile phones : Blackberry, iPhone and Android. Either with dedicated applications or with optimized web pages.

Otherwise, good work. Now, I continue my exploration of the site

I would also like that each blog has it's separate webpage (clickable from homepage) so that you could send the item to someone and that you could place comments there
I think that would create more interaction on each blog more easily
I've talked to Lonneke about it, and I hope it can be changed

the site does work well on an i-phone but I've heard that on a blackberry it's not
so we'll have to check that out too!
I'm almost only online on my mobile nowadays so that should definately work

and about the RSS feed
do you think that is necessary?
would you use that?
oh that's interesting I'll check if that's possible on this website

I think RSS is really important. I am personally tracking hundreds of sites I am interest in. I can't visit each site just to check if they have some new content. So, generally when a site has no feed .... I just never visit it again.

I recently just saw that Dursegern posted 8 times about the same text with links to an external site for clothes and accesories

In the 21st century the fashion trends...


And he did it in all the sections even in the dutch section well would be nice to have a marker to denounce spam so the administrator could check it out and eliminate them.

I really like organice you life is one of the better sites in the net would be very sad that it would be filled whit this kind of users thanks:D

thank you for your tip
I removed this and some other users

it's quite hard to check users before you approve them
Lonneke is working on a sollution for this
so hopefully it's even better soon!!
