Have you heard about white mulberries? I haven’t till I discovered a Raw Food!  Let me tell you alittle about this superfood from Turkey. It is super nutritious, that’s why it’s called a Superfood, but also it tastes so good! I found mulberries in my healthy food store. When purchasing , look for sun dried  and organic.

Sundried mulberries are sweet and crunchy. They are high in vitamin C, iron, calcium and protein. In fact, they are one of the few fruits to be  considered a respectable source of protein – 3 gramms of protein per once.

Mulberries also contain a high concentration of Resveratrol (also found in red wine grapes) – an antioxidant compound that fights free-radical damage.

In Chinese Medicine, mulberries are classified as a blood tonic.

Mulberries haver been used medicinally to:

  • Benefit the kidneys
  • Treat weekness and fatigue
  • Correct anemia
  • Premature gray hair remedy
  • Fight against cancer
  • Promote sleep
  • Calm the mind

WOW! I want more of those fruits in my diet! Don’t you?! Im eating them right now as I’m typing this post:) I love to eat them in the morning for breakfast.

I call it “Mulberry Granola”

  • 1  Honey Crisp apple
