Organice Your Life® is founded in NYC by Lonneke Engel, international model and Certified Health Counselor, in 2008.

"Organice Your Life" came from the words " Organize". "Organic" and "Nice", as we think those are the 3 key words in living a happy and healthy life.

The main goal of Organice Your Life® (OYL) is to make as much information and links accessible to anyone who wants to do something,to try to make their own life, or the world around them a bit better. Little efforts sometimes can mean a huge positive difference!

Lonneke Engel
Lonneke was Born on 14th of June 1981 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. When she was 13 years old, she had a chance to go work internationally as a model. Next to that, she finished high school.

She worked for brands and magazines like: Guess?, Roberto Cavalli, Chanel, Italian Vogue, French Vogue, American elle, Anais Anais. She also had exclusive contracts for multiple years with Covergirl cosmetics and Ralph Lauren. Because of her collaboration with Ralph Lauren, people know Lonneke as the "Ralph girl". She still gets booked for Ralph Lauren, which makes it over 13 years, that she worked for him.

In 2009 Lonneke graduated as a "Health Counselor" after a study at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York. Lonneke decided that besides her modeling work, she wanted to use all the possibilities and give advice to young girls and models regarding healthy eating habits and living well.

Organice Your Life® was born. In this concept, Lonneke promotes, together with other experts, mostly from within the fashion and entertainment industry, a happy and healthy lifestyle. This through the Organice Your Life® blog, and through events, work shops, books lectures and other media. Her slogan is therefore: "Get Organiced®!".

When she is not working, Lonneke likes to spend time with her dressage horses of MeaVota Dressage, spends time with her sister, her family and friends. She likes to read and write a lot, and she does work out. Her favorites are running and jumping on a trampoline!

Maruja Retana
Maruja Retana is an weekly Organice Your Life® blogger, and - together with Lonneke - creator of new concepts (e.g. workshops).

During her time as a Psychology student, she and writing partner Marieke Boelhouwer (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen) wrote columns for Dutch Cosmopolitan, in which a large variaty of girl talk subjects were psychologically analyzed and/or explained in a light, funny manner.

Besides writing and psychology, she has another great passion: music. After obtaining her Masters Degree, several years of working experience as a trainer and a successful participation in tv show X-factor( she became 6th in the finale), she started her company Encantada Live in 2007. Under this name she provides teambuilding workshops, vocal coachings, music shows and professional audio recordings.

Nancy Bommel
After 15 years working at LOréal, as marketing and pr manager for brands like Lancôme, Helena Rubinstein, Ralph Lauren, Viktor & Rolf, Kiehls and Shu Uemura, Nancy founded her own marketing and communication agency OnCloud9.

Besides the marketing and communication projects she did in fashion for kids (Eager Beaver, Rags Industry & Oiliy) she loves to dedicate her free time working as a volunteer in developing countries (Bolivia, Ethiopia ) to either help children or consult small fair trade enterprises.

With a great passion for travelling, photography and writing she hopes to publish her first travel guide for childeren one day. The backpack journeys she already made with her two beautiful Guatemalan daughters could be an inspiration for adventurous parents but are mainly meant to widen kids their perspectives.

Lonneke and Nancy walked invisibly on the same path since their collaboration for Ralph Lauren and are now joining forces to build Organice Your Life® worldwide, and on the Dutch market as well. Nancy will write about having a young, dynamic family and household, about work and ambitions, and how you can do this all AND make yourself and the world a bit better!

Anne-Marie Van Dijk
Born in the Netherlands and raised in the South of France, Anne-Marie had a childhood dream to study interspecies communication between man and dolphin.
Little did she know that her passion for wildlife and her love for nature would lead her into the world of modeling.

At age 14 she was scouted by a famous modeling agent while playing with dolphins at a local marine park. She accepted the job after realizing this could help her raise funds for a whale she was trying to save.
She soon booked her first job with famous photographer Bruce Webber for Abercrombie & Fitch.

What started with one whale and her modest contributions to its survival led Anne-Marie to realize that her unique position as a model could enable her to do more for the environment than she had ever imagined possible.

Now, many magazine covers later, editorials and campaigns, such as for Dior, D&G and Emporio Armani, Anne-Marie continues to explore the vast domains of the fashion industry and what this has to offer to the outside world.

She is currently working on her own non profit foundation that intends to share the visions of those in the fashion community and harness the power of the industry to support existing initiatives and inspire change.

Anne-Marie currently lives in New York where she and Lonneke Engel work and brainstorm on different projects together with good friend Eyal Amir.

Irene Dirks
Irene (29) is born and raised, and still lives and works in Eindhoven. After a few years of creative studies at Art-Academy in Den Bosch and the Design Academy in Eindhoven, she now spends her time, when she is not working,on a lot of different projects like making clothes, learning how to knit, checking all fashion trends, graphic work, cooking, exercising, travelling, music, theater, movies, talking, charity work, her cat Frits, helping her sister Agatha become a famous make-up artist, twittering , and studying Communication.

Ever since she started dating an inventor specialized in sustainable innovations she started to get an interest in biological, organic, vegetarians, fishatarians, vagueatarians, sustainability and Fair Trade.

Somewhere in this mix of art, organic, health, and fashion etc. she landed on the Organice Your Life® website and thought that it was a great website with just the kind of info she would like to read.

Because she liked it so much she started to send Lonneke tips and links for adding onto the website.

Lonneke apparently liked them so much she asked Irene to join the Organice Your Life® team, to start updating directly.

Irene will write blogs about interesting info she finds online and/or things she experiences, and will help creating and organizing Organice Your Life® events and workshops.

Mallory June
Mallory June, born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands on June 11th 1988, is a big fan of the organic lifestyle. At 14 years of age, she started modeling in the Netherlands, and by the time she was 17 she decided to model full time working for clients all over the world, such as Abercrombie and Fitch, Bulova and Elle magazine.

She moved to New York when she was 18 years old, to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She played the leading role in a short film that went to Sundance called Acting for the Camera in 2009 and she played in a film with Nicolas Cage released in 2010.

When she is not working she enjoys baking, cooking organic and healthy meals, going to the movies, traveling, and going to restaurants (mostly vegan and organic ones) Lonneke is the one who really introduced her to vegan and macrobiotic foods and the importance of organics.

Mallory June will write about her experiences, the things she discovers and the things that make her happy! ---

Eyal Amir
Eyal was born on the 29th of October 1982 in Israel. When he was 21 years old, he packed his bag and went with his best friend, Idan Peretz, and 2 surf boards on a trip around the world wondering what this life is all about...

In 2007 Eyal arrived to NYC and immediately started to promote sustainable and organic living among NYC local community. In 2008, with the help of his partner Aviad Cohen, Eyal founded a 100% Organic and Green catering company and start serving top designers and photo shoot studios in NYC. Around that time Eyal met Lonneke Engel and Anne Marie Van Dijk.

In 2009 Eyal became a licensed real estate agent and joined a leading real estate firm in NYC. This days Eyal is studying to become a green real estate broker and soon will join NYC first GREEN real estate firm!

At the same time, along with his dear friends, Lonneke Engel and Anne-Marie Van Dijk Eyal are trying to promote sustainable and healthy living among the fashion industry….keep yourself updated for our next event!!!

Marius Hordijk
While being on an exchange program from the University of Utrecht to South Africa, Marius Hordijk started his modelling career. While finishing his studies in Social Sciences, the modelling became a lot more serious than he expected.

Instead of working at an aquarium on Curaçao, studying in Holland or hitch hiking through Southern Africa, Marius decided to grab his backpack again to see where modeling could take him.

The next four years took him across the world, doing worldwide campaigns for, amongst others,Versace Jeans, Levis, Hugo Boss, Gant, Desigual and fragrances for Rochas and Hugo Boss Bottled, always combining the modeling work with extensive backpacking trips.

Now a married man, he and his Italian wife have decided to move to Holland. Marius will continue working as a model from here, while studying for a second Bachelor degree in Psychology.

Marius will write about interesting subjects within psychology and travelling, finding ways to sometimes disconnect from the increasingly interactive world, and about another one of his passions: running.

Valentina Zelyaeva
Valentina Zelyaeva was born on October 11th, 1982 in Russia, in a small town Ulan Ude that located near the biggest and the most undiscovered lake on Earth – Baikal.

At the age of 17, on the subway while on her way to the University, she was approached by one of the model agent. He gave her the card and an invitation to take a part in one of the biggest model contest – Elite Model Look.

Next year she was in Japan – modeling for catalogues and speaking foreign language.

In September 2004 she came to New York. The first fashion show that she booked was Ralph Lauren – she has been the face of the brand ever since, with an exclusive multi year contract.

After being a model for quite some time, she realized that she couldn’t be healthy following model “diets”. She was always sick and tired. The key to the health and endless energy is nutritional food that you put into your body. The kind food that will give you glowing skin and healthy, strong body.

After searching the Internet, reading books and discovering one day she came across The Raw Food and vegan diet.
Valentina is passionate about traveling, photography, nature and nutrition. She has graduated digital photography course. Hopes one day to come back to the lake Baikal and also to own a store/boutique where you can find the best organic and Eco- friendly beauty products and food.

Valentina will write about new organic /good for you and Earth products that she has tested personally(make up, house cleaning, food, hair products, face and body etc), raw food recepices and tips, books about nutrition, organic and live food.
