How to really start your morning

We should think of our body as a miracle machine that does everything to keep us healthy and happy.

While you sleeping at night, your body is going thru detox process – it is getting rid of old toxins and waste that you receive thru polluted air, unclean water, unhealthy food … You name it.

To me , the most important meal of the day is breakfast. How you will feel the whole day is simply depends on what you have first thing in the morning.

My advise to everyone is to start your day with glass of warm water and fresh squeezed lemon juice. Lemons are very alkalizing on your body, so you will have stronger immune system. Besides, lemons are very cleansing for your intestines.

Wait 30 min and then you can have your breakfast, It is very important to have fruit as a first food entering your body. Try to keep is simple – chose one fruit that you enjoy most and have it as much as you want till the lunch time.

My favorite breakfast is melon smoothie!

I take one cantaloupe melon – split it in half – spoon out the seeds. Then I take my blender and put ripe flesh into it. I blend everything well and thats it! Sometimes I add almond milk and it tastes even better!

    These are great tips, many will definitely need to kinda detox this weekend to balance all the extra eating. This poem is for Thanksgiving and is about morning also.

    Hi Valentina,
    Oh my god !! I’m really the worst student in the class, I often make your lemon juice as soon as I wake up Valentina, but I thought it was pouring lemon juice in warm water (this is how I make it) and more I never wait 30 minutes, I drink my orange juice just after,(I must correct !!!).
    I also like the melon but melon season is ended in France, I’ll see next year !

    Hello Valentina how do you keep your healthy lifestyle when traveling to foreign countries? Or when you only stay somewhere for one night and can’t bring a lot of luggage? Or when they only have very unhealthy catering at jobs? Im struggling with those things at the moment…

      hi! i always bring Chia seeds with me. I add it to my water bottle and drink it on the plane (keeps me hydrated from inside) By the arrival I drink lots of water during the day, i do not drink coffee to keep me “wake”. This way I can rest at night and feel fresh next morning for a job. I bring prunes and some nuts with me to snack… do your best, but do not stressed about food, not always you will have access to green smoothies and freshly made juices :) the most important is to have fun and good time with people around you ! love and light, Valentina xx
