I just love Whole Foods in Miami! Every time I go there, I pick up a new exotic fruit or vegetable. And this time it was CHERIMOYA!  Funny name, no?! But ask me if it is delicious! WOW! You just have to try it for yourself. The taste I can only describe as an apple meets pineapple and  they have a sweet relationship  in a banana land.

I have never heard about this fruit before. Have you?!! I already tried the close cousin of it in Brazil – ata fruit or sugar-apple. And they are both yumm!

So, besides the heavenly taste, cherimoya is full of vitamins, minerals, fiber and all the other good stuff.
